『貳』 【本能】這部電影看不太懂、結局讓人迷惘，想表達什麼
《本能》表達了人類的貪欲、佔有欲、色慾，強調不管人在社會中從事什麼職業都無法逃避開這些與生俱來的慾望本能。具體劇情：退休搖滾明星強尼·博茲（Bill Cable 飾）在性行為的過程中被人用白絲巾捆綁雙手後用冰錐殘忍刺死。
其女友凱瑟琳·特拉梅爾（Sharon Stone 飾）是一名作家，去年出版的小說中就有雙手被白絲巾捆綁的退休搖滾明星被女友用冰錐刺死的情節。
雖然特拉梅爾通過了謊言測試，但曾槍殺兩位遊客卻被判無罪的尼克·柯蘭警探（Michael Douglas 飾）堅持認為特拉梅爾在說謊。因為他自己也曾接受過謊言測試，並且通過了。
《本能》主要角色
1、尼克
舊金山市的一名警探。當他奉命去調查一起離奇的兇殺案時，遇到了有重大嫌疑的小說家凱瑟琳。雖然沒有抓到實質性證據，但尼克憑借自己的直覺斷定，凱瑟琳就是兇手。可是隨著調查的深入，尼克卻逐漸迷上了凱瑟琳。
2、凱瑟琳
凱瑟琳是一位漂亮迷人的暢銷小說家，精明自信。她常常為了寫好小說中的人物而和各種類型的男人親密接觸。作為殺害搖滾歌星的嫌疑者，在警察局受審時，她顯得異常平靜。但在她最近發表的一本小說中，敘述了一個女子最後殺死自己戀人的故事，其方式和手法與這次案件有著驚人的相似。

殺死歌手的是心理醫生，動機是嫁禍莎朗斯通演得 凱瑟琳，他們倆是同性戀，所以她熟知凱瑟琳的心理，為什麼凱瑟琳會將冰錐放在床下了呢？是因為這時的凱瑟琳已經愛上警察，
開始看時，不知不覺都將凱瑟琳先認定為兇手。其實整個故事從歌手被殺到最後心理醫生被殺造成的心理沖擊才誘發凱瑟琳殺人的本能
最後的冰錐就是說明凱瑟琳要殺他了
