關於《The Shawshank Redemption》的評論，太多，該說的差不多都已說了千萬遍。對於這樣一個熱門的話題，再想要抒發一些個人的喜愛之情，不免有拾人牙慧之嫌。為了避免這樣沒新意的事情發生，許多單詞我就不再提了，譬如「希望」，譬如「自由」。當然，這些都是很好很好的，也是可以第一時間從電影里感受到的。
那麼，我先說說我曾經感受到過的另一個單詞，「理性」。安迪的勝利是理性的勝利，安迪的成功是理性的成功。無論面臨怎樣的局面，順境也好，逆境也罷，他都不動聲色，默默地審時度勢，做他能做的努力，以達成自己的目標。
這是一種偉大的才華！
人類是感性的動物，時常受到情緒的支配，這是人之常情。面對殘酷的環境，人本能的反應便是奮力抗爭，而當這個環境惡劣到一定的程度時，人的抗爭之心就會慢慢被消磨殆盡，成為行屍走肉。這兩種情況，都是在許多文學影視作品中可以看到的。
肖申克的囚犯也大都如此。在入獄之前，他們想必大都是目無法紀為非作歹的凶徒，人性中叛逆抗爭的一面應該比常人要猛烈得多。但是長期被囚禁的生活，對權威的恐懼，對未來的絕望，對體制的順應，使他們逐漸成為了去掉獠牙的狼。但沖動的血性並沒有消失，囚犯之間時不時地爭斗，「三姐妹」的恃強凌弱，都是證明。但，這一切都臣服於肖申克的石牆之內。就像馴服的狼被一起圈禁在鐵柵欄中，也會彼此斗毆撕咬。這是動物的本性，也是人類的本性。
安迪的偉大之處，便在於他超越了這種本性，在它上方數萬英里高空的地方，用人類的理性俯視著這一切。典獄長的冷酷，獄警的殘暴，「三姐妹」的獸欲，他當然從心底里反抗。他的抗爭看起來如此虛弱無力，但卻如此又堅定持久。他在用他的智慧和理性反抗這一切。有的時候，他看似已經忍氣吞聲，但很快我又欣喜地發現，他始終不曾屈服。當「三姐妹」強迫他口交的時候，他一番心平氣和的敘述讓對方無計可施；同樣的，當獄警頭子惡狠狠的要將他推下屋頂之時，他仍是面不改色地說出一番話來，立刻說服了對方。面目猙獰窮凶極惡的是他們，但真正咄咄逼人的，卻是他。
老瑞德曾經看錯了安迪，以為他只是一個普通的知識分子，沒有霸氣，沒有血性，是個軟弱的人。沒錯，安迪沒有張揚的鋒芒，人性中野蠻與粗暴的一面，在他體內都已凝煉成了理性，從而爆發出更加巨大的能量。
我想，瑞德一定慶幸他輸掉了那兩包煙。

接著我想說的是，「毅力」。這個力量或許和前面所說的「理性」有些關聯。
人都有一時沖動的時候，那一刻會爆發出平常所沒有的力量，叫做爆發力。對短跑運動員來說，爆發力很重要。然而那一刻爆發的力量是有限的，它會被一種叫做時間的東西消磨。這個力量來自於人的本能，像頑石一樣不經琢磨。
而「毅力」卻是琢磨而出的。時間不斷的腐蝕它，而理性不斷的加固它。這是一場艱苦卓絕的拉鋸戰。
安迪可以堅持每天挖掘石洞，挖了近二十年；可以每周寫一封信，後來每周寫兩封信，直到州政府給了回應，資助他建立起圖書館；可以穿越長達五百米的惡臭骯臟的下水道，逃離肖申克。這樣的毅力不只是可敬可佩，簡直是可怖。
我沒有毅力。我只會被時間消磨成一堆灰，一堆沙，而安迪卻被琢磨成了鑽石。他讓我激動，是因為他身上的「理性」和「毅力」是我所沒有的。
我推想安迪從哪一天開始生起了挖洞逃生的念頭。也許是他刻下名字的那一刻，他發現石牆的質地松動，可能使他成功，於是他開始奮斗。但我想，這個念頭一定在那之前就有，一定是這種想要擺脫困境的念頭，與他百折不撓的精神，使他成為一個出色的銀行家。而後，使他成為一個出色的逃犯。接著，在電影結束之後，他必將成為一個出色的開拓者。

瑞德說，你不是罪犯，也許，不是個好丈夫。安迪卻不這么認為，他痛心疾首，認為是他的性格害了他的妻子。他很愛她，但是不善於表達，她說他就像一本闔上的書，永遠不知道他在想什麼。
其實從電影一開始，我就明白了為什麼安迪的妻子會紅杏出牆。當然，他很出色，他不只是有才華，還有一種奇妙的人格魅力。但是這不是愛情的基礎，起碼，他的妻子並不因此而愛他。
有人說這是部「男人必看」的電影，我想除了因為這部電影宣揚了理性、希望、奮斗之外，還因為其中有一種男人之間的友情。安迪的魅力沒有吸引到他的妻子，卻深深吸引了他身邊的囚犯兄弟，特別是瑞德。
瑞德是個老大哥般的人物，慷慨任俠，老成世故，頗有頭腦。他在監獄里法力無邊，若不是最初他幫助安迪搞到了許多工具，安迪也無法完成越獄的奇跡。
安迪心中明白「體制化」對瑞德的影響，他們曾在一次談話中提到希望，於是引出了這部電影最經典的兩句台詞：「希望，是好事，甚至也許是人間至善。而美好的事永不消失。」「要麼趕著去生活，要麼趕著去死。」然而在監獄里生活了三十年的瑞德，怎麼可能僅僅被這兩句話而挽救呢？他可能會走Brook的老路。
於是安迪為瑞德安排了一件事，或者說，為他打造了一個夢想。當瑞德從絕望和恐懼中走出來，走向那棵巨大的橡樹，走向碧海藍天的時候，我徹底被安迪折服了。他用智慧拯救了他自己，又用智慧拯救了他的朋友。說得好聽點，他給了瑞德一個叫做「希望」的東西，通俗點說，他讓瑞德有點事情做做，讓他「趕著去生活」。要做到這點，光有美好的願望和深厚的友情是不夠的，還有智慧，對人性的洞察。
安迪的這一招，非常像程靈素，她也是以她的感情與智慧，救了胡斐的命，最關鍵是，給了他活下去的理由。不能怪胡斐不愛她，就好像不能怪安迪的妻子不愛她一樣，他們的智慧和人格魅力，也許只有站在朋友的立場才能夠欣賞。許多男讀者愛程靈素，應該也只是把她引為一位異性知己吧。

The crown jewel of 1995's summer blockbusters appears to have arrived early。 It's hard to imagine any motion picture released between now and August matching Mel Gibson's Braveheart for spectacle。 With its clashing armies， heartstopping action， and grand sense of romance， this is the sort of film it's a pleasure to see and review。
Let me state my preferences up front。 I'm a big fan of the epic adventure， a category in which Braveheart， like cream， rises to the top。 There's a lot in this film that's praiseworthy -- not the least of which is its ambition。 Those viewing this picture may be easily reminded of Gettysburg， The Last of the Mohicans， Glory， and such classics as Lawrence of Arabia， El Cid， and Spartacus。 The grandeur is certainly present; nevertheless， Gibson gives us not only memorable battles， but characters of real substance。
Borrowing from masters like Sam Peckinpah and David Lean， the actor/director has crafted an exceptional cinematic tapestry in only his sophomore effort。 Most of the time， three hour movies have a few flat spots， but Braveheart is constantly on the move -- riveting from start to finish。 When the end credits began to roll， I was hard pressed to accept that nearly 170 minutes had elapsed。
The title character is William Wallace (Gibson)， a hero of Scottish history whose legend has surely outstripped fact (in its own unique way， the film acknowledges this)。 Wallace fought for Scotland's freedom in the late 13th century， wielding his broadsword and influence to defeat the forces of King Edward I (Patrick McGoohan)， the British monarch who had declared himself king of Scotland upon the former ruler's demise。
Braveheart builds slowly to its first gritty climax。 Much of the early film concentrates on Wallace's love for Murron (Catherine McCormack)。Their courtship is unhurried， yet this is all preparation。 The real meat of the story， which includes political mechanations， betrayal， and dramatic battles， is yet to e。 Patrick Henry once said， "Give me liberty， or give me death!" That might well be Wallace's motto。 "It's all for nothing if you don't have freedom!" The nobles of Scotland fight for land and riches， but Wallace stands for the indivial， and earns respect with words and deeds。

This should've gone straight to video。 Evan Almighty was not able to manage the expectations of those who came to see it anticipating as riotous a ride as its predecessor Bruce Almighty。 It retained the premise of the original as a spin-off but it doesn't work not because Steve Carell is less talented than Jim Carrey but because he had lousy material to work with。 Even Morgan Freeman (who reprises his role as God) lost the zing and impressive qualities he had in the first installment。
Evan Almighty apparently targets a family audience with its decidedly more religious overtones (check out what ARK really means)， so it shouldn't have attempted to fool the audience by maintaining the Almighty franchise because it doesn't fit; its brand of humor and story simply failed to keep up。
It would've probably done better if it were marketed differently instead of lazily riding on the success of Bruce Almighty when it painfully couldn't deliver the same punches。

A little girl sleeps in a corner of the garden. She cries and cries until her sound is broken. Suddenly a bright figure appears before the child. A beautiful fairy stands in front of her. She had a wand in her hand. 「Why do you cry? What』s the trouble? Perhaps I can help you」, the fairy says. 「My mother is dead. I am lonely, and nobody loves me」, answers the girl. 「I am a fairy, my home is in the moon. Do you see the light of the moon? How pleasant it is. Would you like to live with me in the moon?」
「Thank you, dear fairy, I want to go with you」.
The fairy leads the girl into a wood where there are many dwarfs. They look very busy. Every one of them has to dig the soil. They are trying to find varieties of seeds. They cultivate the fields with their hands. All day long though they are exhausted, yet they are forced to work on. Otherwise they will be whipped to death. I made up my mind to save all of those dwarfs. The sound of the bell suddenly came to my ears. I had to wake up.

When I first saw this movie I didn't appreciate it like I do now. Because I was so young that I didn』t get the main idea when I first saw it. Just recently I saw the movie again. What an amazing and moving story. That movie teaches you so much about life and the meaning of it. That life isn't as bad as most people feel. Forrest Gump, the innocent man can impact so many lives with his innocence. The meaning of the movie to me is that everyone needs to have a better outlook on life. That we need to appreciate more of the little things and not let the big things hold us back. Although life may throw us trials and tribulations like a box of chocolates, we just have to bite into it and get through it even if we don't like it. I just love this movie. And anyone who hasn't seen it or who thinks that don't like it I seriously suggest seeing it or seeing it again. It truly is amazing
