電影《馬戲之王》值得一看，是部好電影。
老戲骨和小鮮肉的加盟更為吸引人
好萊塢全能巨星休·傑克曼不但是《金剛狼》系列中的熱血超級英雄，更是享譽全球的百老匯歌舞大師。2004年他就曾憑借《來自奧茲的男孩》拿到戲劇領域的頂級榮譽托尼獎。之後他更曾連續三年擔任托尼獎頒獎晚會的主持人。《馬戲之王》是休·傑克曼繼2012年的《悲慘世界》之後時隔五年再度在大銀幕上開嗓，更有勁歌熱舞令人血脈僨張，將為觀眾帶來前所未有的精彩表演。
提到扎克·埃夫隆，觀眾們最熟悉的還是《歌舞青春》系列中的陽光大男孩特洛伊，當年的小鮮肉已經華麗變身，成為了演唱跳俱佳的新一代全能王。在《馬戲之王》中埃夫隆飾演主角巴納姆的搭檔菲利普，不但有著狂野叛逆的一面，也有著溫情動人的愛情戲。導演邁克爾·格雷西對他的表現大家贊賞：「在錄音棚里他把所有人都震了。

㈡ 馬戲之王：the other side
the greatest showman，國內譯作「馬戲之王」，港台譯作「大娛樂家」。去年在國內上映遭遇首周票房撲街，又從第二周開始逆襲，據說在電影史上逆襲程度堪比「泰坦尼克號」，受到很多專業影評人士的diss，但是卻受到觀眾的追捧，三刷四刷都有，倒是恰好契合了劇中的評論家和觀眾對他的態度，外行大概就是看著熱鬧，觀眾大概就是看著歡樂吧，反正你們那些專業的評判標准我也不是很懂，連那句專業的評論電影中的歌舞從「詠嘆調」到「宣敘調」的轉變，從歌舞表達角色情緒到推動情節發展這樣的溢美之詞，我也是多讀了好幾遍才理解，但是毫不影響我今晚二刷此劇，並認為譯作「馬戲之王」大概應該背首周票房撲街的鍋，作為歌舞傳記電影，譯作「大娛樂家」不是非常清晰明了么。
一刷此劇，感動點主要在於三處，一處，這個裁縫之子的愛情和童話故事一樣美好；二處，尋找各種奇人異士，將他們推到聚光燈下，體現著溫暖；三處馬戲團被燒了，在廢墟之中，在絕望之處開出希望之花。驚艷點主要在於，電影中的歌曲都好聽到犯規，不論是 the greatest show，還是never enough，還是 this is me，而休叔不論是唱抑或是跳，都讓我熱血沸騰。
二刷，卻更喜歡上了the other side，這首歌來自休叔說服扎克到他的馬戲團來，當時的扎克是有名的話劇演員，有名有利，經常出入上流社會。這一段發生在一個酒館里，角色只有休叔、扎克和酒保。這一段頗有西部電影的感覺，就是兩個人從對抗到討價還價，到合作，到共舞。休叔的太太是old money階級，而他自己靠馬戲團發家，屬於new money階級，不論是吃穿用度，這就是片子里老是提到的花生，還是審美。休叔是試圖通過扎克，進入上流階級，從後來扎克帶他們見英女王，到歌劇巡迴演出的瑞典夜鶯，這條逐夢上流社會的路子，扎克確實起到了非凡的作用，所以休叔說服扎克這段就更有意思了。這個大娛樂家確實了得，吸引得了上流社會的小姐，激勵得了各式各樣的員工，更說服得了合夥人還要說成是高價僱傭的員工。他的說服點就是從你現在的無趣生活中逃開來，進入到另一個光怪陸離的世界來。這個世界需要冒險，但是這個世界也會回報你驚喜。嗯，友誼，愛情，大概就是扎克的 the other side。
二刷後最喜歡的一首。
